Hi, I'm Ferenc. Frank works too.Senior Software Engineer & Architect
I design and build web applications, e-commerce platforms and backend systems — from complex legacy codebases to modern, scalable architectures.
Good architecture doesn't eliminate complexity. It makes complexity manageable.
I don't believe good engineering is about using the latest technology, following architectural trends, or designing the most sophisticated system possible.
It's about understanding the problem first.
After more than 20 years of building web applications, e-commerce platforms and complex backend systems — and spending years on the other side of the table as a CTO — I've learned that the best technical decisions sit somewhere between business needs, technical constraints and the people who have to work with the system every day.
I've worked with systems that evolved over many years, carrying layers of legacy, accumulated decisions and technical debt. I've also helped move those systems towards more modern architectures. That experience taught me that starting from scratch isn't always the right answer. Sometimes the best architecture is the one that lets an existing system evolve safely, step by step.
I'm an architect who still likes being close to the code. I enjoy understanding how things actually work, getting into difficult codebases and turning complicated problems into simpler, more manageable ones.
Technology changes constantly. The fundamentals don't.
Understand the problem. Make deliberate decisions. Build for change.
How can I help?

Helping teams evolve complex web applications without defaulting to a full rewrite. Architecture, scalability and technical debt — grounded in real-world engineering experience.

Meet the engineer
I’m a software engineer and architect with 20+ years of experience building and evolving complex web systems. My background spans hands-on development, software architecture, cloud infrastructure and seven years as a CTO. Today, I work with teams that need experienced technical thinking without the overhead of a full-time hire.
